Kipah- Underwater Comm. Device (Patented Design)
Dive Together. Stay Connected.
A patented underwater communication device that attaches to any mask — for divers, snorkelers, free divers, and more — alerting you with a soft, bioluminescent-inspired glow at the edge of your vision, only when it matters.
No screens. No noise. Just you and the water.
The Problem
Every year, diving incidents happen but not not always due to the water. There’s lack of communication options when it comes to being underwater. GPS and Bluetooth don’t work underwater, and hand signals only work if someone is looking.
We interviewed many master and beginner divers, dive instructors, marine biologist and anyone who spends time in the water across South Florida to understad the root cause of most water related incidents. The answer was consistent: most scary situations could have been avoided with one thing — a better signal.
How It Works
GPS and Bluetooth don't work underwater. So this device uses ultrasonic acoustic waves — the same physics the ocean already runs on — to keep you and your buddy connected in real time, no matter how deep you go.
A soft, peripheral glow appears at the edge of your mask when you've drifted outside a safe range from your buddy. Swim back within range, and it fades away quietly — leaving you exactly where you want to be, fully present in the water.
No checking. No guessing. No mental load. Just the quiet confidence of knowing someone has your back — and you have theirs.
Have an emergency but can’t get the attention of your diving buddy?
There is a button on the strap alerts everyone in your network if something goes wrong. You, you’re diving buddy and people on the surface. No display. No menu. Nothing to think about. Just a signal, when you need it most.
Who It's For
If you go underwater, this is for you. Recreational divers. Free divers. Snorkelers. Spearfishers. Open water swimmers. Anyone who has ever lost sight of their buddy and felt that split second of panic — this was designed for you. Set your preferences before you enter the water. Attach it to the strap of your mask. Forget it's there until it matters.
What Makes It Different
Most safety devices add noise. This one removes it. No screen competing with the reef. No headset blocking the silence you came for. Just a calm, bioluminescence-inspired light — designed to feel like it belongs underwater.
